Vizzy Wins the UNLEASH Startup Award 2025

We’re proud to share that Vizzy has been named the winner of the UNLEASH Startup Award 2025, taking home a €50,000 sponsorship prize package at UNLEASH World in Paris.

The UNLEASH Startup Award is one of the most respected accolades in HR technology, designed to spotlight companies shaping the future of work. Past winners include Peakon (now part of Workday), Talent Alpha and Clustree, placing Vizzy among a standout group of innovators redefining how organisations hire, engage and build teams.

Standing out on a global stage

Vizzy was selected from a highly competitive group of five startups, each pitching live to an expert judging panel and fielding questions from a global HR and talent audience.

What set Vizzy apart was our mission to move hiring beyond CVs, replacing static, keyword-driven screening with a more inclusive, human-first way for candidates to show who they really are, and for employers to see what truly matters.

Our pitch was delivered by Co-Founder and CEO, Chris, who was presented with the award by UNLEASH Founder and CEO Marc Coleman, alongside the UNLEASH Startup and Investor Programme team.

A win for human-first hiring

Speaking after the win, Chris shared:

We’re absolutely thrilled to have won the Startup Awards at UNLEASH World 2025. It’s a huge feather in our cap, and a testament to all the great work our team has put together. I’m incredibly proud of everyone involved and really excited to see where Vizzy can go in the future.

For us, this recognition isn’t just about winning an award. It’s validation that the industry is ready for a better way to hire, one that prioritises potential over polish, context over credentials, and people over paperwork.

What this means for employers

As organisations face growing pressure to hire more fairly, efficiently and authentically, this moment reinforces Vizzy’s role as a trusted partner for forward-thinking teams.

Winning the UNLEASH Startup Award signals that human-first hiring isn’t a nice to have, it’s the future.

And we’re just getting started.
